WOAH, YOU WROTE A BOOK AND YOU ARE FINISHED??

10/22/24 I will never forget that date. The day I finished my very first book. I had told people a million times I was going to write, sometimes I would want to do a devotional, sometimes a book on my life, sometimes on addiction but when I actually sat down and started typing I knew what I was hearing from the Lord. I knew what I needed to write about. The ladies of The Awakening-Muhlenberg had just had their first women's retreat and the Vision God gave to my friend was on spiritual warfare. She decided to call the retreat Warrior Women, Training for battle. During the planning process I was in constant prayer over preparing for battle and training other women to step on the battlefield with me. While I know that spiritual warfare can go relativity deep, I also know not everyone is ready for that. As I began to take notes of my own to prepare to teach, I realized that there were basics I had skipped, things that could have prepared me better. Things that I wanted other women to know before they dive deeper than me. I jumped in head first, and had to go back and learn that I needed to buddy up, Prepare for the battle ground, dig in to be a proverbs woman and dig in deeper to Why spiritual warfare was necessary. As an Intercessor Prayer was never a issue, I could step in and pray for people for hours, but what I didn't realize was that to be effective I needed to be prepared. During the retreat, I mentally took down notes from each teacher, then hurried to get them all down in my phone to use later. The retreat was amazing. so many women were baptized, and I was one of them. Although I waited until that Sunday for my husband to baptize me. It was amazing! There is something about Washing away the things you have been letting weigh you down. Jesus was in every moment of that retreat, and still today The Holy Spirit is working through one woman's God given vision because I finally sat down after years and compiled all my notes, my own studies and years of being the hands and feet to write the book "Warrior Woman." 10/22/24 was the day I finished the book and made the cover. It was also the day i told my husband I had started and finished my very first book. His response was "Woah! You wrote a book and finished it already?" I said "Yes, I have been hiding down here in the basement while doing college homework and worked on it secretly." I did not tell anyone because I have said so Many times, I am Going to Write and never followed through. I am blessed with a support system that always believes the best in me and knows I am capable. It just wasn't until God said GO that I could let the words flow onto the pages. I am so so so thankful I can be the hands and feet of Jesus in this way. Preparing his people to take on the enemy. I am also extremely thankful for my group of women that are in battle mode as soon as I say i need help. Without them, this book would not be ready. While they did not know I was writing, They prepared the way when they prepared the retreat, their lessons and for being true battle buddies for life.
